In May 2015 I did had a weekend in California, Traveling from San Jose to LA. To visit Yosemite was much more impressive than expected. I do know the alps pretty well, Matterhorn, Monte Rosa, Eiger Mönch, Jungfrau, Ortler etc. But the Yosemite Valley was even more impressive...
Unfortunately the weather was not great, it was rainy, only a few moments I could see the sky. - and therefore not opportunity to drive to Glacier point to take a panorama: So I will have to come back for that...
The next day I planned to go To Mariposa Grove and later to the Sequoia National Park - But Mariposa took all the time of the day....
