On August 28th 2017 we visited the Latvian Ethnographic Museum where many historic buildings are on display. Many of them where moved to this place in the 70th of the last century wich means this happened during the time when Latvia was part of the USSR.....
What is really nice that not only the houses are on display. There are many places where old crafts are exercised with people in traditional Latvian cloths...
And there are shots where you can buy historically made goods - and food...
Some travel guides are telling you that you should visit this place first before you explore Latvia - and I would agree upon that...
